Default about new tranny mount

Ok, got my new poly mount and have a question, what is the deal with it not having the stud? Am I supposed to find one that fits or can I somehow reuse the one in the old mount or what?

You use one of the bolts in the kit.

There are two bolts, and both of those hold the mount to the tranny. I'm talking about the stud that hangs down from the original mount and has the nut that holds the mount to the cross member.
What am I supposed to do to get that to work?

I just reused my 2 OEM bolts to hold the mount to the tranny and 1 of the bolts in the kit in place of a stud to the crossmember.

Yeah I guess I'll have to do it that way. So do these mounts make the whole car shake considerably worse?

I wouldn't say it makes the car shake. But you definitely hear the vibrations inside more. It was LOUD when I first put it in compared to the stock mount. I'm starting to get used to it though, it doesn't bother me anymore.

Yeah you aren't kidding, I got it in and holy crap is that a lot louder, and you can actually feel it through the seat too. But it isn't really annoying, I'm sure I'll get used to it before long at all. I had to go to the airport for a minute and I left the radio off the whole way just listening to it, it actually sounds good!
