lt1 t56 shaking when engaging clutch at low speeds
my 1995 trans am has a shaking problem. it only happen when i move from a dead stop or sometimes cruising at low speeds, downshifting....i recently had replaced my clutch and bought a spec stage 2. i had problems with it when i first installed it as the tob fell apart. sent it back to spec and thy replace the tob and didn't even notice the ball bearings in the pressure plate. so i carefully pulled them out and put it back in. i then ended up with a grinding noise after a month. took it apart again and found out my fork was rubbing the clutch. i think the fork loosen up too. i grinded it down a bit and now it's back on the road but it's having a shaking issue. i replace all the mounts with poly engine and trans. helped and was worth all the bs but still shaking?? the clutch grabs third and spins. could it be the rear end?? wtf else is there? if i launch it or spin it takes off fine. basically ride the clutch.

I WONDER IF IT WILL GO AWAY AFTER ANOTHER 4000 MILES?? IT MAKES IT FEEL LIKE A POS THOUGH OR THAT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE. NO CURE FOR CHATTER HUH? EXCEPT ANOTHER CLUTCH? IT'S ONLY A STAGE 2....EEHHH SHOULD OF BOUGHT A CENTERFORCE AND SPENT THE EXTRA $$$ BUT THE LT1 CLUTCHES ARE SO DAMN EXPENSIVE....AND I AM TIRED OF PULLING THIS TRANSMISSION OUT.
