need help chosing gears in my99 ss m6 150k 4.10s???
I want to put gears in my car. like most i am looking to do it as cheepy as possible but want to make sure i do it all right. new bearing etc etc. should i go with 4.10s? if so what kind? a local shop here in baton rouge said they would do it but ofr round 1100. this seems pricy seeing how most gears cost 200 to 250ish. should i put them in myself and if so can any one give me help on how to.......

You should post this in the rearend section.....But to help ya.....most shops charge between $250.00-$500.00 for gear installs....That is for labor only...$1100.00 is way too much for install....4.10's are fine for a dd.....
