98 Trans AM LS1 M6.
One dyno for a dyno tune.
After all said and done, the bottom two bolts holding the bellhousing to engine stripped/pulled out. We took a longer bolt w/ a nut and put it back together. Got home and put it on the lift, to find that the bellhousing from around the area where the bleeder/slave hydraulic line enters to the top toward the engine block the bellhousing cracked.
Driving home from dyno shop, Even sitting in neutral not moving, Revving it up to 3500-4000 would cause a vibration only in between those opperating ranges, higher or lower no vibration.
Took the front plate and tailshaft housing off tranny, everything inside looks fine, nothing broken.
Looking for suggestions and tips? Thanks

You make a good point, Maybe I should swing by the next time I’m in SF. Would be interested to see what kind of effort they have, although I hardly have.

I would like to know if you had changed ANYTHING before the dyno run....clutch? rear main seal? Camshaft? headers? ANYTHING...even an alternator? That was we can eliminate that as a possible source of vibration. That being said, let's assume you did not change anything, and everything was fine, and you hopped on teh dyno.
Bolts backed out. Tranny torqued/twisted and cracked the bell. Now the tranny is "loose" in teh mounting, regardless of how tight your bolts are, the crack is your source of "looseness". I would have the bell welded up, and you will be good to go. You might also just check classifieds, as if you can pick up a stock bell for say $50-$75 then that will be a cheaper way to go.
