Default noisy tob?

on Friday afternoon i got a ram adjustable master installed in my 98 trans am. on the way home i noticed my tob/clutch was noisy when stopped in neutral at red lights and stop signs. (fyi, its a spec stage 1 with approx. 9k miles on it.)

saturday morning, i realized the new master cylinder barley had any free play so i adjusted for more.

when i was driving the car around sunday, the clutch/tob assembly was making all sorts of noises. when sitting still in neutral, with the engaged, there a noise coming from the transmission area. disengage the clutch, the noise goes away. during moderate accelleration, there a 'scuffing' noise coming from the transmission area. the same scuffing is heard slowing down, while in gear.

so whats the problem here? im guessing a worn TOB? possibly the slave?

I am curious as well. This sounds sort of like the noise I am hearing. Mine came on gradually and has gotten louder.

It only does it when the clutch pedal is up. When you push the clutch pedal to the floor it stops. When I drive though it makes no noise unless I am rolling up to a stop light real slow.
