Which tranny M6 or M12 for Corvette drag racing. Looking for a tranny, M6 or M12....
M6:
2.66 1st
1.78 2nd
1.30 3rd
1.00 4th
M12:
2.97
2.07
1.43
1.00
3.90 rear with 26" tires
M6 will drop 2,3,4 shifts to 4600, 5000 and 5300
M12 will drop 2,3,4 shifts to 4700, 4700 and 4800
Which tranny would be better? The M12 has higher gearing in 1 - 3 but the M6 has closer gears.
