Street twin install tips?

Street twin install tips? im doing one tomorrow night, and im wondering if there's any tricks that might make this easier? i heard something about checking tolerances with a feeler guage?

Re: Street twin install tips? getting both disks to align is a PITA. We've found the easiest way is to use an old input shaft. those plastic thinggys have to much play to adequately align the disks IMO (not a problem with single disks, but a major concern when you have to spline 2 disks

Re: Street twin install tips? so other than that a pretty straight forward install? i aint skeered to pull my tranny's front plate off and use my imput shaft. i'll be repairing the reverse slider anyway.

.025- .020 no worries ;D
the only thing i was worried about was taking it apart, re=-assembling and making the tolerances. since this was a new one, i'm not too concerned with it, but i'll check em anyway. plus it's got the bluc stripe on all the sections, so it'll line up schweet. ;D

Re: Street twin install tips? the disk and the floater plates. they haveta haveta haveta have .020 or the clutch wont dis-engage. IOW, you fire up your car and you're mooving.
