tranny problem help I have a stock transmission with an aftermarket SLP shifter. The car will not go into 5th gear when downshifting from 6th. 
It doesn't clunk or grind. It just does not go as if the gate is closed. The car shifts fine when going from 4th to 5th though. Please help with identifying my problem and how I can fix it. Thanks in advance.

Re: tranny problem help Look at the mods on my car. I got a new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, flywheel, slave cylinder, hydraulics, and actuator last week all under warranty.
