Default Spec Super Twin review

Got the car together and went for a couple of short drives with it and within the first 18 miles the chatter is already gone. Paired with a Tick Master she should be real fun once everything is broken in.

Did it come with a flywheel? If so, is it billet or steel?

Where did you buy it and how much did you pay?

Thanks

Just installed per Spec. I called and asked several times during various other questions I had and evrytime I was told to install it in an F-body car.

Just some street driven miles. It is def an on/off style clutch but no issues other than that. It is just a relearn on my part that is all. Plan on some track time soon.

i have the PT trim in my z06...the 1395 lb ft tq model....it was on off and grabby and chattery as hell at first...broke it in...went to the track...ran 11.10 at 127 on my 2nd pass then snapped my transmission output shaft on my 3rd pass....got that all fixed up along with the ring gear that the shards of output shaft took out...and about 900-1000 miles deep and my clutch feels damn good....doesnt chatter very much at all...you gotta figure out how to drive this clutch....shifts great at wot with no shim for me and the stock master....still grabby but when you find that point of release its a great driver...i drive my car daily so i would know.....2 thumbs up for me though on the spec supertwin...this clutch feels better than my spec 3 x pad did in my old TA a few years back...chatters much less...but is a little more grabby

Thanks for the reviews and shared perspectives. It is always great to hear from different people regarding their experience with a part. I drive a SST Super-Twin in my daily and it is a smooth as butter...and has been since break-in was complete. I know I am biased but it's my perspective. Thanks again!
