I have recently purchased a new ram clutch I wanna say the hd but when i went to install it the flywheel has the alignment dowels for the factory pressure plate but there isnt a slot for them on the new pressure plate! What do I do??

 

I don't know...maybe post this question in the correct forum for starters?

 

i noticed this when i did mine and i just pulled the dowels out. probably what your not supposed to do but mine works great and ive got 18,000 miles on it so i would definatley do it again. good luck!

 

i had the same problem and i called ram and they told me to knock them out so i just used a hammer and a punch and i have had my clutch in for a about 3 months now and over a 1000 miles and everything is good.
