Default Check out my new Centerforce clutch

Pulled my trans out tonight cause I wanted to see why under normal driving the clutch wouldnt hold any power- just started to slip- Happened during a car cruise- Casual driving.

They almost look cut- I say manufacture defect- What say you? Put this clutch in before driving out to LA invasion- 500 mile super casual break in. Took it to LA invasion and did 3 track passes - 2 18 second pass shut down runs from no traction: after 2000 miles. ( freeway cause the 400 goin out to LA and the cruise) 400 miles back from LA invasion. Car stayed down for like 3-4 months while the car was torn completly down and heads / suspension were installed.

So not even 6 months of driving, and a few more track runs in Vegas. 400 hp 3200lb car. Clutch dies on street driving after 10 months of ownership.

Tick master new slave installed with clutch. thx for reading - thats all.

Are you talking about the wire? If so dont they look like that from the factory? Maybe I am wrong. I cant remember what mine looked like anymore.

Try to pm Will Baty. Do a search on here and he should come up. He is with Centerforce and has helped me out with a problem I had.

They do look like that. It is a counterweight design that helps with clamping force as rpm increases. Obviously his were not working as advertised. Good luck, hopefully they sort you out.
