Hi I have a 98 M6 car and when I bought it I was told that is was upgraded to the 01-02 slave and master cylinder. How can I be sure that I got the newer stuff? I just had the trans rebuilt and it has a spec clutch but it was in there when I bought it. I was told the clutch only had 4k miles on it. Well I went to the track friday nite and made 3 passes and now I have no clutch. Its slipping badly. I had no problems at all with shifting at WOT just wont pull now.
thanks
Josh

May not be explaining it right. I have heard that the clutch master cylinder is different on the 98's and that the 01-02 are better. I was told that mine has the 01-02 MC but I am not sure. I dont know how tell the difference between the 98's and 02's. Yeah the clutch is fried, I ordered a monster clutch and adjustable MC from Tick monday.
