Countershaft??

Countershaft?? i am getting my tranny rebuilt and found out my 3rd and 4th gear were broke. and just found out today that the countershaft was broke. and im looking for places to by the countershaft, but cant find it anywhere. is it called a countershaft or is there another name for it. it what the 3rd and 4th gear touch, i guess, and thats why all of them broke. i need help asap becuase i have to have the car by thursday and i havent ordered the part yet. thanks.

here is what im talking about. i need the whole piece labeled "B". there are 2 teeth at the very bottom of the shaft that are broke. and from what my mechanic says, that is one whole piece.
Yes, that's the counter shaft cluster gear. For a Fbody LS1 it's tremec part# 1386-077-008 but you may only be able to get it as a complete matched kit that includes the 5/6/R extension shaft (1386-410-008) Check with your favorite Tremec dealer or one of the board sponsors.
I have 3 of the cluster shafts in my spare parts pile, not sure if they'd make it to you by Thursday.. Send me a PM if you're interested.

how much for the cluster shaft that you have. i've been looking at sponsors and cant find anyone that has what im looking for. so you are saying the countershaft isnt one piece? could you maybe send me a pic of what you have, cuz im new at all this. thanks.
I have the piece "B" in your picture. It's recommended to keep the extension shaft (Pictured below. It's splined onto the end of the cluster shaft and has the 5/6 synchro) as a matched set with the countershaft, which is why I don't think just the cluster is sold separately.

Verdad Gallardo To be honest with you , I am not sure if it comes with an extension or not for that price . I have never bought one new . I have several used ones on the shelf and several more cores if needed .
