Odd tranny problem

Default Odd tranny problem

I have 94 v6 and whenever i let the clutch out trying to geter goin fast or spin the tires at a high rpm the back end thumps and doesnt sound to healthy and the stick jumps up and down. it doesnt stall but it doesnt sound healthy either. maybe the clutch slipping or a bearing or something?

Sounds like a loose torque arm mount.

I'll check that out. Guy I was working with said it might be some rubber transmission mount that stops up and down movement. Have no clue what it's called though

checked into it. The mount he was talking about is between the crossmember and tranny and apparently you just pry back and forth between them and check for cracks. Ill check the torque arm to while shes up on stands
