Default Help identify possible problem...

So I was on my way to the store about an hour ago. Got onto a nice long straight away with no traffic. Speed up quickly in first and shifted into 2nd. Went WOT and went to shift into 3rd and heard a loud pop and the clutch became stuck to the floor. Rolled to a stop in a nearby parking lot and turned off the car. Tried to restart the car in neutral expecting nothing to happen and the car started. The clutch feels like it's not connected to anything. I can push and pull the clutch pedal back and forth with no resistance by hand. Any idea what might be the issue?

Is it leaking hydraulic fluid? It may be a burst clutch if you hit first instead of 3rd like you thought.

Sure sounds like you blew the hydraulics. The master or the slave could have blown internally without leaking fluid externally.

-UPDATE-
I pulled my transmission today and it was my Slave. The bolts had actually almost backed out and the slave actually 'popped off'! the input shaft almost ground completely through the Slave, from it just kind of dangling in there. I got another slave replaced it, bleed the clutch about 5 times and its better than ever! The car is shifting ALOT better now with this new slave. Oh and i have a SPEC Stage 3+ and their lightweight flywheel
