Anyone send a McLeod clutch back 2 McLeod for new disks?
I was told I could send my McLeod clutch back to McLeod and have them install new disks into them. Has anyone ever tried this? How much did it cost you to do it and how did it work out?

I did this with a twin disk setup. I had them upgrade the pressure plate to the newer style and put in new clutch disks and floater plate. They rebuilt the whole thing, set it up and sent it back in about 3 weeks. It cost me about 350-400 bucks. Not too bad for a rebuilt/new twin disk.

When I put my motor back together I called D&D and ordered a new clutch disc( I have a Mcleod Single Disc Ceramic) and I went to the Kevlar and it took them 2 days to get it to me. It was 150 bucks for the new kevlar disc.

McLeod told me today that its a 1 week turnaround for the clutch, and they give you a new pressure plate and disk. Basically the pressure plate and disk together run between $190 and $240, and shipping is about $30-$40 each way. They will also resurface your flywheel for $25. Sounds like a great deal!
Not to bad for a rebuilt single disk clutch with all new parts.
