my car makes a SQEAL noise when i'm really stretching/feathering the engagement into 1st gear... not taking off fast or anything, but barely putting along in like a parking lot or something...
my clutch setup is an aluminum flywheel with a centerforce DFX clutch disk (puck design) and clutchmasters clutch assembly

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you probably don't launch the car hard much? There is most likely some fluid/dust/metallic material/etc on one of the friction surfaces. A couple hard clutch dumps in first gear will take care of it for you.
My Spec 3 did the same thing for almost a year. Finally took it to the track, a couple 4500 RPM launches on Nittos and it never did it again. Wish I had known earlier in the life of the clutch. It's a fairly common issue you run into with many aftermarket clutches.
