Default Slave quick disconnect

Whats the easiet way to take it off? I heard fuel line tools and everything else. But im not having any luck.

There is a tool that Snap-on, Matco, etc. sell. It is a Ford disconnect tool, but will work just fine on the LS1s. If you don't have access to one of these, just use two small screwdrivers and push in on the white collar. Once you have it pushed in far enough, you should be able to pull the line out.

what size oring goes on the line where it mates to the slave? inside diameter and outside and size please

2 small screwdrivers works really good, just turn them sideways and push on both sides like you are using 2 small plates.

get a fuel line disconnect tool set, its like a couple bucks at any parts store and was easy as pie. had no luck with 2 screw drivers.

I found that an open end wrench works really well...just choose the size that fits over the connector and press in...works like a charm.

damn thats a good idea, even easier than screwdrivers.

That would definitly be the easiest way. I too used the two screw driver method. It's a breeze, so don't waste money on any special tools (though the fuel line disconnect stuff isn't pricey and you'll probably use them for other stuff in the future).

ive used my fuel line disconnect tools so many times i can even count. fuel lines, a/c lines, slave, etc. very handy to have around.

screw drivers does it in a second so why even make a deal out of this? just push it in a lil bit then pull on the hose and it should come right out..
