Default somethings wrong...

when i shift into third gear all normal and calm it;s fine, but when i do it slightly faster and with a little more power it grinds....yes the clutch is down all the way. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Sounds like you have a syncro going out .

Most likely its a sync. In the worst case like happened to me one of the bolts on the pressure plate broke came out gouged the flywheel and pressure plate and bent all the forks on the pressure plate and killed the slave. Same symptoms as you have though.
