Telling the difference between old slave cyl and new?
Telling the difference between old slave cyl and new? I posted before that I had the dealer change my clutch and I also specified that I wanted the slave cylinder updated to the new version that's found on the 01-02 cars. I was wondering if there's any way to visually tell the difference between the old slave and new while it's still on the car? I have to take it back in to get the engagement readjusted since the clutch isn't fully dissengaging and while it's there I want to make sure they do it right this time. 
Well, as I found out this week you can no longer get the 145 slave. If you need a new they are going to put the old 288(2000) part back in. There is nothing to adjust on our clutchs unless you have an adjustable master cylinder. They will probably replace the slave/master for your problem
