Default t56 lt1 vs ls1

I think it has been clearly stated that LT1 transmission will not bolt to the LS1 motor. What I would like to know if replacing the bell housing will make them compatible.
I am sure there is someone out there that know the answer.
Thanks you

You need to change the input shaft, front plate and bellhousing for it to work as long as your unit is the 2.66 ratio transmission.

Bellhousing, Midplate, Input shaft all have to swapped between the two.. Mixing/matching will not work.
