I used overlengthed bolts with red loctite and lock washers... with the bolt sticking out through the other side I then used a self-locking nut on the ends and tightened the bolt and nut against eachother. If that doesn't hold it in place I don't know what will.... good luck.
p.s I run a 5.0 never had a prob like that. hope this helps a little

THIS IS A DAMN GOOD IDEA. I'M GONING TO TRY THIS

while I was doing a rematch on the same car last time I tried racing and the bolts came loose
!! And to make the matters worse I have air in my master cylinder and I couldn't powershift @ WOT
nor could I granny shift WTF. I'm going to get longer bolts and get put like five nuts on it.
