Default Will NOT go in reverse

Well, my car will Not go in reverse, I've been having trouble with it going into reverse, it would be hard, but i would eventally get it to go in. The previous owner wired the reverse lock out threw the brake pedal. Not sure what to do. Just incase u need to know i have a ram powergrip hd clutch, mgw short throw, and a Ram adjustable clutch master cylinder. I have NO problems going into 1st threw 6th. This happened once before, and i turned the car off and then back on, and it went in, it was hard, but it went in.
I checked the ENG SEN fuse ( not sure i needed to ) but it was fine.

It doesnt grind or make any noises, it just goes into 5th, wont even try to go into reverse.

Any ideas on what to try???

Put a little more man muscle into it and over-power the RLS..it's not too hard to do.

No it will not go into reverse even when the key is off.

I've had to muscle it into reverse before, this is nothing like that.

Well, today went out to the car just to see if it would go in reverse seeing as it has its moments, and nothing, so i pulled in the garage took off the center console to look at the wires that lead from the brake switches, looked at the connections, and moved them around alittle, and i was able to muscle it in gear, This car just confuses the hell out of me.

There's something to it of course, just have no clue what it could be. If it does it agian i may try looking at the lock out solenoid.

can you bring the shift stick all the way to the right where R is, or can you only bring it as far as 6th gear.
