Default rockland gear no walk bushing

anyone accidentally put it in backwards? i found out the hard way the driveshaft wont go in if you do. i put it in the same way as the stock one but apparently thats backwards

I have not seen the Rockland bushing but wasn't aware there was a right and wrong way to install the factory bushing. The biggest thing is to line up the seam of the bushing with a solid part of the tail housing and not in one of the oiling grooves.

well apparently on the rockland bushing (which is longer and made of brass) one side has a slightly smaller inside diameter. they should really mark them. its really a pita to get the rockland back out. especially if you follow their directions and loctite it in. they tell you at what angle to put it at tho. theres a hole in the rockland that isnt in the oe. they tell you to line that hole up with the oiling hole in the transmission
