Default Pro 5.0 install

just wanted to say very easy install i love the shifter feels really tight, used the pro 50 stick with about 1 1/2 inches cut off just enough thread to get a shifter on. need to adjust the stops a lil more but awesome shifter!

i was thinking of doing this. either upgrading too the 5.0 or hurst billet. i have the factory hurst. as for the 5.0, if i do this will i be able to use the stock boot and ****? also, is there a noticable between shifters? enough too justify the cost?

i used everything that was originally on it as far as boots and shift ****. it sits about an inch lower than factory but i also hacked as much off the pro 5.0 stick as humanly possible barely enough to thread haha. i will try to get pics tomarrow. and yes well worth it. much tighter and positive engagement feeling on shifts.

no pics yet but hopefully this weekend i can get some. got the bump stops adjusted correctly now, i wish i had done this mod sooner

I cut the pro 5.0 handle down. I think i counted 10 threads and cut it off. I think total was aobut an 1" or a little bit more

I recently had a Pro 5.0 put in and cut down and like it. I wouldn't change back and may have trouble now with a stock shifter after getting use to this. The only dislike is there is a slight bit of noise at higher RPM's.
