First, I did search and I've seen all the debates about synthetic vs conventional ATF for the manual transmission.
I'm going to use NON-synthetic Dexron III....
What's the best brand ATF to use for my manual transmission?
I know Castrol ATF is available locally.
Anyone vouch for its quality?
I saw Coastal ATF but it looks cheap and I don't know anything about them.
I'm just very particular. Thanks

Any reason you don't want to use synthetic fluid, being "very particular" and all?
Castrol ATF is fine, I ran it in my rebuilt T56 for ~1000 miles and it shifted fine.
I'd really consider spending a few extra bucks and using Mobil-1 ATF.

I've had really good luck with Mobil 1. My car used to grind going into gears when it was really cold out and just by switching out the dexron III to Mobil 1, it went away and shifted smoother.
