FWIW I have a t56 LT-1 B-body 383. D&D did the 3-4fork , steel syncro pins when i ordered it. 4400 lb car running a MT Street at the track. No issues on 2700 RPM clutch dumps.

IMHO now that the "Magnum" T56 is out I would buy it if getting a "new" tranny. I spoke with the Tremec rep @ Super Chevy and the Magnum is a completely new deal with significant improvements over the existing T56. This to address 400+ HP/TQ the newer cars (Camero, Stang, Challenger) lay down. case and internals are not interchangeable with the old T56

My car makes 382HP/410TQ at the wheels with "standard" but not "viper shaft" upgrades on the T56......YMMV
