So you had the LS7 clutch, how did you like it? I'm sure it can take a beating, but is it pretty comfortable, hopefully not real stiff?

I loved it. It was great for the power I was making (377rwhp). It was slightly stiffer than the stock clutch, had great grip and it took a pretty good beating from me and the present owner. It saw 26 passes in one day with no trouble at all. and it's still going strong.
The only down side to that setup is it didn't come with a clutch alignment tool but you should be able to pick one up pretty cheap or borrow one from a friend.

That has to be the clutch because the only other one is with an aluminum flywheel. Well thanks again man.

I have a 3 year old track used LS7 clutch in my car and this season after getting my Fab. 9" I really started to abuse it bad with 6K launches and M/T ET Streets, anything higher and it does like it to much, some of my best 60fts were a few 1.6's but the norm seem to be 1.7/1.8, which I blame on the used and abused clutch, it doesn't like making more then about 3-4 passes at a time either, all in all it's a good clutch for hard street duty and some track use but I will be upgrading to a Monster stage 4 here for what I'll be doing.

Mine went in back in spring 2007. In fall 2007 I added the TT kit. And it has been a dream to drive. It has seen a few track days on street tires. Never slipped even the day I hotlapped 8 passes. I have around 26k on the clutch now, 21k with the turbo's. And I put 538rwhp down last month on a dyno challenge at a carshow.

Alright guys, It seems like there a lot of LS7 enthusiasts in here. This thread is possibly making up my mind of getting the LS7 clutch with a Tick Master Cylinder, instead of getting the the McLeod $1700 kit. lol
