Default pump to fill trans?

Where can i get a cheap pump to fill the transmission? I had couple of pos general purpose fluid pumps but they were ineffective.

I work in a shop and we dont have a fluid pump for everyone to use, so I went to home depot one day and picked up a bug sprayer. It says "RL Flowmaster" on the side. It was about $12 and works great for filling trannys. Im the only one that has one so everyone in the shop uses it, its filled about 50 trannys or so and is still kicking, its a little slow but works really well. Just make sure you get the one with the metal nozzle thats about a foot long so you can bend the end of it to go into the trans fill hole.

What about un-bolting the Shifter and dumping the 4 Quarts in there?

I just bought one of those cheap hand pumps that screw in to the top of the bottles. Worked for Royal purple gear oil in the diff, and ATF in our built trans with no issues at all.

If your working on a manual transmission you can go through the tail housing. Remove the shifter boot and thift stick thing and put a drain pan under the fill plug so when its full the overflow will go into it. Worked for me *shrug*

I got one at Auto Zone. 10 or 12 bucks. it served it's purpose. It was a bit slow, but then I wasn't in a hurry.

Glad I did it, the tranny shifts easier now.

I use this from autozone. Like $10. Pumps out a quart pretty quick. Good use for other things too.

I either do it that way, or pop the shifter. Its a couple screws, a boot, 4 bolts and alittle rtv...

I use a long flexible straw from my kid's sports bottle. Snaps right onto the fluid bottle tip. Just squeeze. It's free and it works. Never needed a pump. But then, I don't have a shop either.

I use a piece of 3/8 fuel line and it works great. Push it on the tip of the bottle and squeeze away.
