Hard to say............

I personally never had good luck with this bleed method. Good ole bleeder screw works great, just need to have patience and a good partner pumping.

One thing that I noticed helped when bleeding, when you open the bleeder and the close it.

Tell the person pumping not to bring the pedal up. Give it about 1/2 a minute and then slowly bring the pedal back up. Repeat at least 3 times and you should be just fine.

All of the Mighty-vacs that I have seen/used in the past have had a few fittings and hardware to allow use of the system on different sized bleeders. It sucks that your's didn't come with any of these.

The easiest way to proceed would be to use a rubber hose with a smaller ID. This would allow the line to connect to the bleeder more thuroughly. Of course, you could also wrap the bleeder with some thread tape to help fill the gap. You would to be able to maintain about 12-15psi of vacuum. Of course, you could also go to a hardware store and buy some extra fittings (reducers/adapters)...even some auto parts stores would have these. I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

Went to another auto parts to rent and there's has all necessary fittings and cup. Did the bleed and all air seems to be out, clutch engages and disengages fine but appears a little low on engagement. Might be the charecteristic of the new set up.

I suppose it could be common with the part you have. Of course you can also see the engagement point raise as the clutch disc seats in. This happens as a result of the disc material which will wear a bit during break-in. Some materials more commonly see this than others including organic (especially one using a marcel spring) and kevlar. I am not sure what clutch you have or what material it uses but I thought this info could help. Thanks,

A Stage 3 won't generally compress but you can see the pedal raise as the unit is seated furing break-in. Please let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to assist you.

I have bled mine a few times with my mity vac because I'm lazy and hate having to jack my truck up and put it on jack stands then get the wife to come out and pump the pedal. I usually pump it up and let it sit for 15 mins or so then drive it around for a while if it still doesnt feel good I bleed it again with the vac and drive again and its usually good by then. Also I only gave 25 for mine at autozone and its worth having it all the time. Very useful tool to have.
