Mighty Vac Question
http://www.performanceworks1.com/ls1...h_bleeding.htm
i tried to fabricate something to work this out and was able to get some air out and pedal no longer hitting staying on the floor. how do i get the mighty vac to build vacuum to stay suctioned on?
I personally never had good luck with this bleed method. Good ole bleeder screw works great, just need to have patience and a good partner pumping.
One thing that I noticed helped when bleeding, when you open the bleeder and the close it.
Tell the person pumping not to bring the pedal up. Give it about 1/2 a minute and then slowly bring the pedal back up. Repeat at least 3 times and you should be just fine.
The easiest way to proceed would be to use a rubber hose with a smaller ID. This would allow the line to connect to the bleeder more thuroughly. Of course, you could also wrap the bleeder with some thread tape to help fill the gap. You would to be able to maintain about 12-15psi of vacuum. Of course, you could also go to a hardware store and buy some extra fittings (reducers/adapters)...even some auto parts stores would have these. I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,
I actually have a spec 3
I asked some buds with ls1 and 2s and their engagement the same after the installed with similiar set ups
