What happens if I just use the GM shims that came on the updated slave. When I bought my McLeod clutch, no shims were in the box with it and nowhere in the instructions does it say anything about them. I found out about the shims on www.InstallUniverstiy.com. I've got the McLeod single disk with the updated slave and a McLeod Master. Anyone ever done this or ran into any problems by not doing it. What could it hurt?
