vette trans in fbody

ok i have a free 6speed trans from an 05 corvette. the trans is perfect and i have a project 99 firebird that needs a trans rebuild. its already a 6spd car. i would assume i would need a tail shaft and what else?

Well, the ratios are different so very little carries over.
Rebuild the one in the car.
Sell the Corvette trans.

Its a different gear ratio but you can use both units to build one good unit with the addition to some other conversion parts.

I think your most reasonable option is to sell the Vette trans and use the money to rebuild/beef yours up.

Different Ratios in just the base Vette Trans?

I thought it was just the Z06 that has the MN12..

You are right, the base model is the same and the Z06 is the MN12 ratio.
