2 weeks gone clutch!!!
Hello everyone,
This is not where and what I wanted to start on this forum but... Alright I am new on here and I just recently joined the LS1 family. I purchased a 2002 camaro z-28 a couple weeks ago. Everything was fine on it until the clutch stuck to the floor. I figure there are maybe 4 things that it could be.
1 air in lines
2 master
3 slave
4 CLUTCH
On other vehicles I have owned you could always tell when the clutch was going out a while before they did... They weren't hydraulic though. Just wondering what the most likely problem is.
Since we are on the subject. The car is pushing over 400hp and I am planning on bringing it on up a little bit more piece by piece. If I have to replace the clutch I am going to go w/ a Monster stg 3. w/ a tick adjustable. Would it be alright to replace to original master w/ a tick with a stock clutch???
Sorry for the noval.
Opinions Welcome.

It's probably the slave + clutch wear. Just buy a new clutch and a slave (I think with LS7 clutch package and a slave it was about 550 dollars shipped)...
And the LS7 clutch is badass, it can handle 500hp easy, and it drives stock like.

You have a hydraulic issue more than likely.
Yes, you can run tick MC with stock clutch.
Level 3 is gonna be OVERKILL for 400 HP. Level 2 is good for 525 HP/TQ, and teh Level 3 is good for 700 HP/TQ @ tires.
Any questions, give a call, pm or email, and I will happy to assist you.
