Chris, let me know what you are experiencing and I will be happy to assist you with tech-support and trouble shooting. It's my assumption that you are having a release issue. Did you install the shim behind the slave and have your bled the hydraulics? I just want to make sure that I know that you have done thus far so I can work with you from that point. Thanks,

I'm not the one having any issues; it's the OP, CABEAR 22.

I know for a fact he has bled the **** outta it, changed the slave and 2 masters. Seems to be the clutch. However he used 2 shitty autozone masters, which we told him to chunk in the garbage can. I gave him my stocker to see if it helped. It worked perfectly fine when removed...so we will see. I have yet to talk to him and see if he swaped masters....

Excuse my misunderstanding then! Hopefully we will hear back from the OP shortly.

Should probably do a TICK master to help release that heavier clutch.

Not the problem; several guys have the same set-up here with NO problems. Clutch was in a car that made WAY more power before, on a stock master, NO problems. It's the clutch; a tick master wouldn't do anything and if for some reason it did, it would be a band-aid for a lil while.

The clutch functioned previously though...correct? That being said there could be a problem with hydraulics, as mentioned more than once above; there could also be an issue with installation; or an issue with shimming. But if you think it's the clutch pull the unit and check the stack height. I am not sure what flywheel is being used but the appropriate stack for our clutch and flywheel is 3.120". This is easy enough to check. When you pull the parts post picture of them and I will be happy to assess these as well. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

All the hydros have been replaced, master 3x, slave, only thing left really is the PP plate.
I did mention to him to take the cluch out this time look at it, clean everything, measure, and if all is good, put it back in. I'm not sure what he did; yet to speak w/ him. It was showing signs of all this before the tranny came apart he said. It broke a input shaft and hasen't been right since. I dunno who built it...or many other details of that.

If the new shaft has burs or is causing the disc to hang-up in some way it would certainly affect clutch release. So to would a disc that had been damaged (i.e. bent) during install or as a result of the shaft breaking! These are just a few other thoughts that could play a part in your issues.
