How much did that slave cylinder set you back, 6.0? What's the part number if you would please.

You can shop around for the slave, but I got mine for $137 shipped. The p/n is 15046288. It's a GM part number and the stealership wanted $200 for it.

I would make sure it is the slave before I proceeded with replacing it. It is, by far, the most difficult piece to replace on the hydraulic system because you have to pull the tranny from the bellhousing to get to it.

Last year I was having similar problems - and my slave cylinder was actually cracked causing the leak. Needless to say, after swapping in a new '01-'02 gm slave (I do not think there is an aftermarket slave avail.), I still had an issue, which ultimately lead up to me buying the tick master.

After literally replacing EVERYTHING including the t56 its self, I highly recommend simply swapping to the tick master when installing a high performance clutch. I know it is expensive, but it is a lot less $$ then ruining the insides of your tranny while trying to diagnose a shifting issue
