auto to manual swap

auto to manual swap i have a 1994 Z-28 camaro with an automatic trans. i have considered the swap to a T-56 six speed. i have gathered some info form a web site that explained the swap in detail.
but i would love to talk to someone that has done this. i do not want to get the car apart and then figure out half way thought the swap that it is not do-able or it is very difficult regarding the intergration of the six speed to the electronics of the automatic trans wiring harnesses.
can anyone shed some light on this and where i can get the parts for the swap (and what specifically i would need for the swap).

well seeing as you have an lt-1 car it will be a bit different. Can't say I can name everything for lt-1 but i can get started..
trans(T56 for Lt-1 years)
M6 pedal box
flywheel/clutch
master/slave
clutch fork since LT-1 application
shifter
trans crossmember
centerconsole(top section at least) and shift boot
anyone else feel free to join in.
we did a conversion a few years ago on my friends 96..didn't swap the wiring harness, just had a tuner program the car with an M6 program. He doesn't have reverse lights cuz of not having the right wiring harness but I think that's the only issue.

well for the parts i would suggest crusing some of the other boards that have alot more lt-1 guys than this one.
