Default Spec 2+ Cluch -- Pressure plate not allowing block to mate with bellhousing

Hi all,

Have any of you run into an issue where the pressure plate springs are so stiff to the point where the block won't get close enough to the bellhousing to put any bolts in?

Did you connect the hydraulic line to your slave? If you don't you will be 'hydrolocking' it - trying to compress liquid when you bolt it up.

The motor/trans is out of the car. Should I open the bleedvalve or something?

Crack the bleed valve and compress the bearing. This will relieve pressure allowing the bearing to fully compress and the transmission to slide on easily. If you have any further questions you are welcome to call me and i'll be happy to assist you. Thanks,
