Default centerforce clutch on a 94 t56 wont disengage!!! HELP!

I cant uderstand why my clutch wont disengage or clutch pedal depress... ok yes I do drag race my car its a lt1 t56 making 385-390 horsepower and 415 ftlbs but I havent raced it in 2 month or more and literally just 2 days ago im cruising at 30mph at 1500 rpms in third gear and i go to casually downshift because i planned on just upping my rpms by 400 more and slowing down or using it as a brake mind you it was only at 30 mph going from 3rd to 2cd and I heard a massave bang like a gun shot. After depressing the clutch pedal once I heard that sound I had no pedal, I pressed the pedal down repetitively as im cruising down the road in neutral in astonishment and the pedal finally return but now that it came back to the top it wont let the clutch pedal back down or disengage and when the car runs in neutral theres a rattling sound???

im definately sure it clutch related but what would cause this on my clutch to happened under normal driving conditions if a clutch disc spring came out or if the pressure plate fing snapped or bent? or is centerforce just junk/
