UPDATE!!
Re-installed my trans today with the Spec shim, PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
It shifts like it used to now. Clutch starts to engage about 1" from the floor and fully engages close to halfway. I can bang them gears and keep it in boost betweem shifts. Now it time for some track use!!

No thanks to the idiot that sold me the kit without the shim.
