Idea...how bad is it?
Idea...how bad is it? So i just put in a new clutch and I think i need to bleed it some more. So here is my pitch for an idea of bleeding it, or a question if it will work lol. I have a remote bleeder and it just so happens to be sitting right next to my master reservoir, would it work if i just slipped a hose over the bleeder valve (air tight) and put the hose in the master reservoir and opened the valve and started pumping? Does the fluid circulate the way im thinking it does or did I just ask the dumbest question ever? I don't know anything about how the system works, just curious if this idea would work.
You just described how to bleed a brake master cylinder, my friend. LOL Well if in fact the hose is air tight it will work with two people.
one to pinch the line at the end and you working the pedal. But if that was the case it would be just like normal.
now if you had a check ball in the end of the bleeder, sure it will work. but if your bleeding it. you might as well just bleed the old fluid into a catch pan.
