T56 Silverado question
If I swap a T56 into my truck...with 4.56 gears, will I still be able to tow and haul. I use the truck as a truck sometimes.
I know the GVRW on an SSR is 4750 lbs...my truck weighs like 5300lbs.
I carry engines and transmissions in the box and haul cars to the shop. Will this be a problem with the T56
I am looking for an M10 or an M12

Dodge put the T56 into the SRT10 truck and Chevy put it into the SSR so its possible to use it as a tow vehicle. I'm just saying I would probably not. The weight of the truck + the weight of the trailer and additional car or pay load will far exceed the ratings for the T56. Its designed to be a car transmission.

So from looking at the SRT-10;
It looks like I could carry 1200 pounds of payload and tow 6300 lbs
So a vehicle on a trailer is out...but I can still tow a decant size trailer.
Thanks again man.
