Whatever LS123 is doing to it. All the updates up to 2010 and bronze fork pads. Not much else to do to these things that I'm aware of.

The newer TR's have these longer pick up tubes to draw the fluid from the back of the trans under acceleration.

Nope, there are a few mods that you must do...You can not just put an 08 C6 Z06 TR6060 in 06-07 C6 Z06 without customizing the pump lines & fittings...sorry that want work...Now we do correct all that with our units, They are a COMPLETELY BOLT IN PLUG-N-PLAY with ALL the pump lines & fittings in the correct places...You will be able to take out your old and install your New without ANY modifications...

RIGHT NOW WE ARE OFFERING FREE LUBE PUMPS WITH ALL CORVETTE CHANGE OVERS, TO TR6060's

Yes, you can install the 08 TR6060 in place of the 06-07 T56 with the cooler lines. The 09 up TR6060 have a different fitting position on the main case and that is the only difference. I'll be happy to post pictures if you like.

I may be mistaken but I was sure the factory lines on the 06-07 Z06 would not screw into the pump fittings on an 08 TR6060..

Mike, You have a good thing going. The prices and the availability with 2010 and newer TR's internals are great but I just want to inform your buyers. I do work on these first hand and you can see for yourself.

Yes, I know you do some awesome work...I am no expert, but I am sure my transmission guy is very good too...he just hates typing...

What about the lines that go into the main case..??

Glad to see they addressed the 5/6 driven cluster gear issue by now using fully splined separate 5 and 6 driven gears.

Have to be careful about mentioning non-vendors I'm sure. I would answer if I knew. The Corvette trannies are exclusive to the Corvettes, so I can't help.

What is the length of the Camaro's TR6060 from the face of the bellhousing (where it meets the block) to the end of the rubber donut (where it mates to the driveshaft)?

Does anyone have TR6060 measurements?

sorry to bring this post back from the dead, but i had a question:

it seems that there are only 4 versions of the "tr-56 magnum" out there, the 2 ford ones, and the 2 chevy ones (both in the 2 final drive options)

if I have a "viper spec tr-56"

what are the case differences between say the chevy "tr-56 magnum" and the viper case. Can I just get a different bellhousing adaptor and now put in a chevy tr-56 magnum... are the shifters in different spots etc ? does anyone have a diagram of the tr-56 magnum vs the viper spec case ?

sorry for the Qs, I am trying to plan out a swap and I'm confused on the above

main reason I want the "tr-56 magnum" is the shifter options plus the beefier torque spec (I have a twin turbo "new hemi" 5.7)

Viper input shaft is a different length. viper shifter is in a different location and is different shape. I would say go with the magnum. My nv3500 that came out of my truck has a bigger output shaft then the viper shaft. ask me how I know

Nothing wrong with asking questions on this thread. This is a very useful info to have and should be updated. I am trying to find someone to faceplate a tr6060. then I may buy a v8 camaro instead of a v6 one when i buy one in a few months.

Sorry to bring this thread from the dead, I need some advice from you guys. I am looking to swap a tough transmission into another vehicle but I am shifting up around 9000 rpm. Is the TR6060 capable of these level in stock form or upgraded? I am looking to avoid faceplating, thanks!

You're correct, you shouldn't have used this thread but instead, opened up a new one.

No synchronized T56/TR6060 will shift very well or for very long at 9000rpms.. No avoiding faceplating on this one..
