Default Reverse lock-out?

How come when I drive my car reverse is not locked out? I noticed the other day it actually tried to go into reverse while driving? Could it be the tune I just received?

Take the solenoid off and see if the plunger is extended or not. Then apply 12v to it and see if the plunger moves. If it doesn't, it's bad. It should be extended all the way out with no voltage, and should move inward (towards the solenoid) with voltage.

Wired in? It's factory, it just started doing it, I will check plunger and trace the wire!
Thanks
