shifter cup + epoxy?

I know that you're supposed to use epoxy to secure the plastic shifter cup (that little thimble looking deal that goes between the shifter and transmission), but do you need to epoxy the bronze ones?

Neither have to be glued into the selector. I do it simply so they do not fall out during shipping or installation. I also use black silicone to hold it in place, the same stuff I build them with.

When I put my bronze shifter cup in, I did not put anything on it to help hold it in place - with how tight it fit in there, there was no way it was coming back out. Combine that with the fact that the shifter itself will hold it in place when you have it installed, and you should have your answer.

Just stick it in..it's a bushing, it's made to move around a hair.

Them little things are a very nice upgrade.

I use the Black RTV to hold them in place also.

I've had to remove a few plastic bushings that were glued in... Not fun...
