Short Stick Shifter HELP

Short Stick Shifter HELP I just bought a UMI Short Stick and it turns out it hits my consule in 2nd and 4th gear. They said since I have a factory M6 that does not have a hurst shifter to buy the WS6 stort stick. Should I buy the WS6 or Lou's Short stick??

I ground down the console a bit, and slotted the shifter hole to pitch the handle forward a bit on my UMI stick so I don't hit the console as bad. I also left the bolts out in the console to it can move a bit.
having the factory Hurst unit greatly shortens throws.
picked mine up for $50 years ago....worth every penny!!
other option is to go to a machine shop that has a big press...and have them put a 10-15 degree bend in the stick.
