I may have a core for you in the near future. I an 06 CTS V that is getting a new tranny. The problem I'm having right now is GM doesn't have one for my car. They sent a new trans to the dealer today and the service mgr. said its not the same as the one that was removed. There's a story to this mess. I had my car in a local Caddy dealer to get the trans repaired and they went out of business while my car was on the rack in pieces. I paid to have towed to another GM dealer to finish the work. The previous dealer put the trans in my trunk prior to me towing it. So I'm not sure if I have the trans that came out of my car. The tag has been removed so can I verify if its a T-56 and one for the V series. Any help would appreciated.
