Got problem with clutch when launching hard.

Wassup guys, I need help! When I launch MY car @ about 3k to 4k and I engage my clutch pedal to shift to second and it has no pressure and end up grinding second and a strong burnt clucth smell follows after. Is it my pressure plate? or slave? do i need to do the drill mod? I got a 2002 z-28 stock clutch, mods below and got 10k miles on car. Im gonna be replacing my clutch, Im going with the spec stage 3 x-pad, Is there anything else that I need to purchase or do when installing my clutch. Ill probly use my stock flywheel and jus resurface it since i got low miles. Any advise would be great . THanks in advanced.

The clutch is slipping in first gear,causing the hydrolics to boil,meaning it wont disengage the clutch enough to pull second...My stock clutch lasted 5k miles due to the track.

my clutch does the same thing when i pull low 1.8s on the nittos
the clutch spun so hard in first that it did not let me in to second at all it would not even grind haha

Yep it's clutch time.
Sounds like your powering thru the clutch a little.

Thanks guys, Where is the best place to purchase spec stage 3 with the new x-pad? Do I have to change anything in my hydrailic system, slave, master, etc. Thanks in advanced.

i have a spec and you cant make it slep. Shift out of 3rd at 3500 and snap forth and she'll chirp hard. holds up to et steets as well

Make sure you bleed the system and replace the DOT 3 with DOT 5 racing fluid!

all i can say is ,my spec3 lasted for 30 runs at the track.it was installed at mti,so its either its a sorry product or a poor instalation. i have a 2002ws6.
