Car doesnt want to go at high speeds
ok so the other day i was driving on the freeway and when i went to speed up my rpm just went up like i was in N and the barley would pick up speed. and when i am shifting the rpms go up to like 3k for a sec and then comes back down. i just had a new clutch put maybe 25k ago. also i notice when trying to speed up and the rpms going really high i could smell what seems like clucth burning. thanks in advance for the help

Clutch slip can be caused by a number of things but the most common are clutch wear and the presence of contaimation (grease, hydraulic fluid, or RMA leak) on the clutch disc. At this point you know it's slipping so it needs to be addressed. Pull the trans and take a look at the parts. You can post pics if you like and I will be happy to assist you with assessment. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,
