Grinding going into 6th...

I just got a cam, lt o/r headers and some other goodies. After all this my stock clutch has been sticking to the floor lately. Now the other day, I can't get into 6thg without it grinding. Is this a synchro going out or is it just my clutch on it's way out? The car is a 2000 ws6 with 37k miles on it.

When you put in the LT's, did you make sure that they are not touching the clutch hydraulic line? If the line is touching a header, the fluid will heat up and your clutch pedal will stick to the floor. Just something to check.....

I'm pretty sure they cleared that. Theonly thing that is remotely close is the K-member. That stock clutch is garbage, it's going that's for sure....I just hope that there is hope that the syncho isnt going.

you probly have to upgrade the master and slave and a good clutch to put in is the spec stage 3 call me if i can help you or if you need the setup thanks guy 203 619 4732

*UPDATE*

It only grinds when going into 6th above 2K rpms. That sounds like a synchro doesn't it? I dunno what the hell the deal is, 6th is barely ever used

So do you guys think it is a synchro, or would the hydrollics of my clutch have something to do with it maybe? It seems kinda strange that first my cutch starts sticking to the floor, then the 6th gear starts to grind. This was all within one week of the other.
