Default Possible to do the Drill Mod without removing Master Cylinder?

If so, is the needs to be drilled end of the braided hose under the brake booster? I'm guessing the smartest/safest method is to remove the hose from the car drilling, and then through cleaning?

you got it, pull the line out, drill the end thats at the master and flush it out good, no need to pull the master, theres a few write ups around if you try a search
